New Website
The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) has launched an all-new website. An online destination offering key information and resources on all things spray polyurethane foam, the site also debuts the alliance’s newly reimagined logo and brand.
The site features an intuitive interface for easy navigation. Visitors can access all relevant information on the performance attributes of spray foam in commercial and residential insulation, as well as in roofing and geotechnical applications. The numerous tools and resources which may be found on the website include: find-a-contractor tool; industry job board; health and safety guidance, including an EPA SPF contractor checklist and OSHA construction compliance tips; Professional Certification Program information, applications, and handbooks; events calendar; membership information and applications; enhanced SPFA member directory; and links to current and past editions of two regular publications of the SPFA.
Founded in 1987, the SPFA is the voice and educational and technical resource for the spray polyurethane foam industry. The Alliance is a trade association comprised of contractors, manufacturers, and distributors of polyurethane foam, related equipment, and protective coatings, inspections, surface preparations, and other services. The organization supports the best practices and the growth of the industry through a number of core initiatives, including educational programs and events; the SPFA Professional Certification Program providing professionals with the tools to differentiate themselves from competition and a reference for customers looking to hire qualified contractor services; technical services covering publication of literature and guidelines, safety materials, and representation of the industry with various construction code bodies; federal and state advocacy; industry promotion efforts including an annual convention and expo; and research and networking opportunities for members.
