Educator

Jeremy Grunewald, national product manager for roofing products and systems manufacturer Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc., has been named a Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC®) educator. He is one of only four building envelope experts in the nation to hold the designation.

Grunewald will support the CRRC in its role as an informational resource on the energy-related properties of roofing products and exterior wall products. He will conduct in-person and online education and outreach events on behalf of the CRRC, teaching individuals and groups about the CRRC, CRRC product rating programs, CRRC standards, and cool roofs in general.

Grunewald joined Mule-Hide Products in July 2021 as product category manager liquid-applied systems and was promoted to national product manager in February 2022. He is a Registered Roof Observer through The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, is a ProCertified® Trainer through the National Association of Roofing Contractors (NRCA), and holds NRCA ProCertification® for Training. He also is on the Board of Directors of the Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association and is a member of ASTM International’s Committee D08 on Roofing and Waterproofing.

Mule-Hide Products Co. Inc. offers premium-quality, high-performance roofing products and systems that meet the current and emerging needs of the design community, contractors and building owners with a strong focus on sustainable solutions. The CRRC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1998 to develop accurate and credible methods for evaluating and labeling the radiative properties of roofing products, and to disseminate the information to all interested parties. In 2019, the CRRC expanded to include the rating of exterior wall products.
