WSRCA’s Membership Competition
by Ali Turner, editorial assistant
The Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA) held their Wrangler of the Year competition, where WSRCA members competed against each other to earn the coveted title, as well as a handful of exciting prizes. These prizes included a one-of-a-kind WSRCA jeweled belt buckle, cash prize of $1,000, and a full registration package to the Western Roofing Expo 2019. Contestants competed against each other to be the number one recruiter of new members and renewed members. This year’s winners were Hans Matheus, Eagle® Roofing Products, with 25 points; Tim Hart, Duro-Last®, with 15 points; and both Heidi Ellsworth, RoofersCoffeeShop.com, and Tom Asbury, Summit Roofing Services, with 12 points. In total, the competition grew the association by 64 members.
