The WSRCA’s 45th Trade Show Dazzles in Las Vegas, Nevada

This year, the Western Roofing Expo 2019 will be held in exciting Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino June 9-11. The Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA) has been working diligently this past year to make sure the upcoming event is one for the record books. The Trade Show will feature educational opportunities, networking events, motivating seminars, and the fan-favorite Roofing Games™. The three-day event will allow attendees to discover the hottest industry trends while networking with new peers and socializing with old friends. The Western Roofing Expo 2019 focuses on the specific needs that roofing and waterproofing contractors face in the West, and this year’s event is sure to impress everyone who attends.
Davis Memorial Foundation
Those who arrive to the Western Roofing Expo 2019 early can enjoy the annual Golf or Sporting Clays Tournaments. Both events take place on Sunday, June 9, and benefit the Davis Memorial Foundation, which is dedicated to assisting students through scholarship grants. National Women in Roofing will also host an afternoon seminar entitled Expansion of Women in Roofing: A Man’s View, which will be followed by their Networking Reception. Sunday evening, all registered attendees can join together for the Welcome Party and Lively-Silent Auction, which also benefits the Davis Memorial Foundation. These pre-show events will surely kick-off a fantastic Western Roofing Expo 2019.

On Monday, join president Tom Asbury and his wife, Chris, as they open the 45th Annual exhibit floor on behalf of the WSRCA. This year’s show will highlight the latest equipment and materials used in the roofing, roof deck, urethane foam, waterproofing, and allied industries. The fun continues on Tuesday as the expansive Trade Show floor invites attendees to explore the latest trends, advances in technology, and best practices for business growth.
Keep your eyes peeled for the live product demonstrations on Monday and Tuesday, happening every hour on the Trade Show Floor. Live product demonstrations highlighted on Monday will be by Hunter Panels at 1:30 p.m., Carlisle Syntec® at 2:30 p.m., Sika® Corporation at 3:30 p.m., and RoofGraf at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday’s live demos will be by APOC at 2:00 p.m. and EagleView® at 3:00 p.m.
Attending the Western Roofing Expo 2019 provides the opportunity to connect with important decision-makers in the Western roofing and waterproofing industry. Meeting fellow attendees, speakers, and exhibitors is a big part of the value of attending the Expo. The Western Roofing Expo 2019 Legislative Luncheon will be held on Monday with keynote speakers Craig Brightup and Reid Ribble. Brightup is an expo favorite and is returning for his 24th year as a guest speaker. As a Washington insider, his knowledge on how legislation affects the roofing and waterproofing industries is invaluable. Ribble is the CEO of the National Roofing Contractors Association and a former United States Congressman. Immediately following the luncheon will be the Nominating Report, WSRCA Retiring Directors Ceremony, and the presentation of the Davis Memorial Foundation Scholarship winners.
Tuesday’s Annual Luncheon will feature entertainer Dave Coulier. Attendees may recognize him from the hit television shows Full House and America’s Funniest Videos, as well as many other successful series across many different networks. Known also as a highly regarded voice-over talent and comedian, Coulier’s presentation will surely have attendees rolling with laughter.
The Roofing Games, one of the most exciting parts of the Western Roofing Expo 2019, are returning again this year. Designed specifically for the roofing industry, The Roofing Games are the nation’s first official set of competitions sanctioned by a roofing association and produced in conjunction with the Western Roofing Expo. Come together on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. to witness contestants competing against one another by installing a Malarkey Roofing Products® system on a small deck. Participants will be judged on accuracy, aesthetics, speed, and workmanship. It will be an exciting event that you won’t want to miss.
